Easy to mistake for and often mis-labeled by nurseries as the rare Z. fischeri, this plant has more than twelve pairs of leaflets, whereas fischeri has less than twelve pairs. It is critically endangered in the wild but is easy to grow in the landscape because of its adaptability.
