Bambusa multiplex 'Tiny Fern'

Tiny Fern bamboo

A fluffy three foot tall specimen of Tiny Fern bamboo, Bambusa multiplex Tiny Fern, ringed round by coral stone near the wooden foot bridge connecting the parking area to the resort at The Botanic Gardens at Kona Kai Resort in Key Largo, Florida

You probably wouldn’t have even guessed this is a bamboo! Many true dwarf bamboos tolerate shade well, having evolved to thrive in forest understories rather than ascend rapidly to the canopy for a spot in the sun like their larger brethren.
