Bambusa multiplex 'Stripestem Fernleaf'

Stripestem Fernleaf bamboo

A two foot tall clump of stripestem fernleaf bamboo, Bambusa multiplex Stripestem Fernleaf, which is densely covered in tiny leaves at The Botanic Gardens at Kona Kai Resort in Key Largo, Florida

Not all bamboos are tall, as this specimen clearly shows. Perhaps dwarf bamboos like this were food for the now-extinct pygmy pandas.
