Pemba palm

Plants that are native to small areas with little habitation usually have less known uses. The only known use of this palm by humans is to construct a "football" (i.e. soccer) goal near Ngezi forest on the relatively small Pemba Island, where this palm is endemic.

Pemba palm is a fast grower, preferring mesic soil and a spot in full sun to part shade.
